Will CBD Oil make me high or make me unable to work?

All of our oils are non-psychoactive giving users no hallucinogenic effects. Researchers have demonstrated that CBD is antipsychotic (anxiety-reducing) compound, which gives its users antidepressant effects.

Will I have any allergic reactions to CBD Oil?

Whilst any food can cause allergic reactions, it is extremely unlikely that any CBD product will cause inflammation.

Is CBD Legal within the EU?

Our oils are classified as food supplements that contain natural ingredients. Complying with the EU Food Supplements Directive. Our products have an (EFSA) code, which means it can be distributed within the EU.

How and when should I take CBD OIL?

We recommend using 7 drops of oil 3 times a day after meals. Place oil under the tongue and hold for one minute before swallowing. In the case of minors, it may be necessary to rise mouth with lukewarm water after.

How many days do recommended I use CBD Oil?

For best results, we recommend a 90-day period of 7-15 drops of oil a day. The most important thing is your body will build up its storage of therapeutic cannabinoids, which can stay within in the body for weeks. This is important to know because after taking full spectrum oil for a few weeks you may find that you can gradually reduce the number of drops you take whilst still achieving the same desired results.

What is the difference between CBD and THC?

THC gives users the “high” effect.  THC is responsible for the euphoric, mind-altering effects of the cannabis plant. The reason for this is that THC binds to CB1 (cannabinoid 1) receptors, which are mostly found in the brain. This changes how the brain functions, and leads to the “high”. CBD, however, does not bind to CB1 receptors, so it does not have the same psychoactive effect.

Is CBD safe for my Pet?

Pets can suffer from inflammatory allergic reactions just like people. CBD can soothe or even prevent some of these conditions. CBD is known to reduce convulsions, epileptic seizers and inflammation. It does not come with the possible side effects that traditional anticonvulsant drugs. All our products are safe for any size pet. Cannalive products are free from free of animal products, preservatives, SLS, gelatine, wheat, sugar, and dairy.

How should I give my pet CBD oil?

We recommend using 4 drops of oil mixed food or place on a treat. It is best to start small and increase serving sizes every week or two.

Does my pet have an endocannabinoid system like humans?

The endocannabinoid system, also called ECS exists in all vertebrates, including mammals. Animals such as dogs share almost 70% biological homology with humans. One study found that the CBD binds to receptors for a longer duration in dogs, and evokes long-lasting therapeutic response without causing toxic effects.

What are terpenes?

Terpenes are a large and diverse class of organic compounds, produced by a variety of plants. Terpenes are also major constituents of Cannabis sativa plants around 120 terpenes have been identified so far. Terpenes are responsible for the plant’s unique aroma. Research show’s high terpene content with cannabinoids is far more beneficial than single-molecule supplements. D-limonene, for example, is the common terpene to the lemon and orange is found in peppermint and juniper. It is the second most widely distributed terpene in all of nature.

What is the (ECS) Endocannabinoid system?

The endocannabinoid system refers to a group of cell receptors and corresponding molecules. You can think of cell receptors like small locks on the surface of your cells. The keys to these locks are chemical molecules called agonists. Each time an agonist binds to a cell it relays a message, giving your cell-specific direction.

The endocannabinoid system is the name for a series of cell receptors that respond to certain kinds of agonists. Two primary cell receptors make up the ECS, Cannabinoid Receptor 1 (CB1) and Cannabinoid Receptor 2 (CB2). The keys for these receptors are called endocannabinoids.

Quality Assurance?

Terpenoid Testing

The analysis of terpenes allows us to choose those plants that better suit our needs, as well as, based on the balance of terpenes present, being able to select them to Indica or Sativa types in a more objective manner.

Cannalive EMEA LTD works with systems of analysis previously validated for the analysis of terpenes by gas chromatography, which enables us to provide accurate and reliable information about the amount present of each of them. Any sample of Cannabis, vegetable or extract, for which we wish to know the terpene composition of and/or its classification in Sativa or Indica* can be tested.

Microbiological Testing

It is possible to know the total amount of microorganisms present in a sample by the microbiological test, which gives us an idea of its quality. It is also possible to identify microorganisms, which can cause severe damage to human health such as E. coli. The test consists of knowing if the sample contains any microorganism that can severely damage health when consumed.

Cannabinoid/Potency Testing

We use liquid chromatography because it does not use heat, so it is possible to identify and quantify both acidic and neutral cannabinoids. This is the most powerful method, as it shows the real content of cannabinoids present in the sample.

Heavy Metal Test

Pesticides Test. The test certificates show that the hemp used for our oils is free from any pesticides, none were used during the plants growth cycle. Mycotoxins (Moulds). It is also best practice to test for moulds because as the plant is dried, fungus and moulds can grow and by testing the extract and oils it gives extra confidence in our premium oils.

Multi-residue pesticides test
